A small church with a big heart for our community and world.
We’re a “soon-to-be” bicentennial, rural church located at the meeting point of three counties - Livingston, Wyoming and Genesee – but there’s no grass growing under our feet! You are welcome here - fully, freely, and faithfully.
Our Kirkin’ of the Tartans is not to be missed! If you’re a lover of all things plaid and crave the bagpipes, travel to Covington on Sunday, November 2 at 10am. It’s an experience that everyone in our community enjoys!
Join us for worship Sundays at 10am
Our hour-long service features special music, a children’s story and a message from our pastor. For kids ages 3 and up, Sunday School begins at 9am September through June. Families with young children find our kid’s lounge a comfortable place to sit during worship. With your own space to spread out, snack or quiet play, this is a great alternative to sitting in the pews!
Meet Pastor Kristina
Welcome! Thanks so much for visiting us online!
In a world where so much is "super-sized" I see that you are among the growing number of people looking for a small engaging church that will fit you just right.
Here at Covington you'll find a supportive, encouraging, warm and welcoming community seeking to live out the challenge to love neighbor and enemy, and to demonstrate that love through acts of service - all accomplished through deepening our relationship with God, following Jesus, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Intrigued? Come by for worship at 10am Sunday! I also host office hours Tuesday through Thursday. Give me a call or email prior to your visit at 516-901-2216 or revkristina@yahoo.com. You are absolutely welcome! Coming Soon: “Java for the Journey,” an adult Sunday morning study group launching 10/12.
