A small church with a big heart for our community and world.

We’re a “soon-to-be” bicentennial, rural church located at the meeting point of three counties -  Livingston, Wyoming and Genesee – but there’s no grass growing under our feet! You are welcome here - fully, freely, and faithfully.

Mark your calendars for a very special day: December 7. Our Pastoral Search Committee has identified a candidate for our permanent pastor. Come meet Rev. Susan Frost. Members will vote for approval immediately following our 10am service.

Join us for worship Sundays at 10am

Our hour-long service features special music, a children’s story and a message from our pastor. For kids ages 3 and up, Sunday School begins at 9am September through June. Families with young children find our kid’s lounge a comfortable place to sit during worship. With your own space to spread out, snack or quiet play, this is a great alternative to sitting in the pews! Check-out this fun children’s story from our Kirkin’ of the Tartans!

Meet Pastor Kristina

Welcome!  Thanks so much for visiting us online!

In a world where so much is "super-sized" I see that you are among the growing number of people looking for a small engaging church that will fit you just right.

Here at Covington you'll find a supportive, encouraging, warm and welcoming community seeking to live out the challenge to love neighbor and enemy, and to demonstrate that love through acts of service - all accomplished through deepening our relationship with God, following Jesus, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Intrigued?  Consider joining us for our Sunday morning study group “Java for the Journey” which starts at 9:10. Coffee is promised! Or come by for worship at 10am.  I also host office hours Tuesday through Thursday. Give me a call or email prior to your visit at 516-901-2216 or revkristina@yahoo.com. You are absolutely welcomed!

Rev. Kristina Hansen is a second career pastor - her first career being in "Corporate America."  After two decades in ministry, Rev. Hansen is still passionate about ministry to and with the community, faith formation of children, and mentoring people on their spiritual journey.

Rev. Hansen grew up in a large adoptive, racially diverse family and is one of 11 siblings.  She and her wife, Leslie, married in 2016. They are ardent environmentalists, avid long distance hikers and love a good adventure.
